An icon returns in one short week. The Air Jordan 5 Metallic Silver, one of the most renowned original colorways of the AJ5, drops July 23.

In fact, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. With the Rio Games slated for August, this is one of the three colorways of the Jordan 5 launching this summer that are inspired by an Olympic medal — MJ’s got a couple of those, after all. Here, of course, the blacked-out upper is set against vibrant red accents and a metallic silver tongue, a nod to the second-place medal (albeit one that His Airness never had to settle for).
