The Nike Nightgazer is set to see a big 2016, as the retro- and running-inspired lifestyle model will make the rounds in a slew of colorways. Like a number of revived runners this year — Pegasus 92, Air Max BW, et al — it will also be updated with tech-savvy materials and execution.

Meet the Nike Nightgazer LW. The shoe retains its silhouette, paneling and sole — all vintage in their styling — but updates them for contemporary sensibilities. In lieu of nylon-mesh and synthetic leather, the sleeker silhouette is comprised of no-sew synthetics and Hyperfuse inlays. The look is familiar, yet truly, utterly distinctive. An improvement, perhaps?
