The Northern Lights Inspired an Air Force 1, Too

NBA All-Star Weekend fast approaches, bringing with it a slew of must-have themed releases from Nike that even includes a shoe — the Foamposite One — inspired by the Northern Lights. Make that two shoes.

The Nike Air Force 1 Northern Lights rocks the same swirling blend of purple and turquoise as the Foamposite, but dials down the conspicuousness a few notches. That graphic print is utilized on the inner-lining, rather than the exterior, contrasting a black leather upper that’s finished with glossy Swooshes and reflective accents. It’s wildly eye-catching in spots, but utterly subdued in others.

The Nike Air Force 1 Northern Lights release date is set for February 11 in the US, just in time for the NBA’s midseason classic.
