Nike Air Trainer Cruz “Rush Blue” One More Time

Victor Cruz was a Giant in name only this season — an injury kept him from playing in any games — but team loyalty is thicker than missed games. And so the latest colorway of his signature lifestyle model draws from Vic’s only NFL team.

Like the New York Giants, the Nike Air Trainer Cruz Rush Blue proudly embraces blue on its suede-and-leather upper, including a new woven heel instead of the model’s typical textured leather. Unlike the Giants, there’s little red or white here — the shoe is absolute in its commitment to blue, less a silver metal lacelock and a bit of red text in the Velcro strap.

There are still allegations of a Nike SNKRS app launch for the Rush Blue Air Trainer Cruz tomorrow, February 6, but the brunt of stateside retailers (including Louisiana’s Sneaker Politics) will stock the shoe on February 10.
