The Nike Metcon 2 Knows Chlorophyll

In 1987, the Nike Air Trainer 1 revolutionized athletic footwear, bringing together elements of running, lifting and court shoes to create the first true cross-trainer; the most versatile sneaker to date. Nearly thirty years later, 2016’s most versatile sneaker pays tribute with a special edition colorway.

The Nike Metcon 2 Knows features the game-changing silhouette and technology for which the Metcon 2 is know, but adds in the colors and materials of the Air Trainer 1’s original “Chlorophyll” colorway. A white leather upper is overlaid by light grey suede, a decidedly retro feel that’s punctuated with black and green accents. Truly, the Metcon knows throwback training.
