A Good Look at the Air Jordan 31 “Olympic”
The Air Jordan 30 has had a little difficulty gaining traction at retail, owing perhaps to what felt like a rushed release and a design that was somewhat derivative (though Air Jordans often are) of its predecessor. Will the Air Jordan 31 suffer a similar fate?
Time will tell, but today we get our clearest look yet at the upcoming flagship J, courtesy of Jimmy Butler’s pair, prepped and ready for Rio — the so-called Air Jordan 31 Olympic. White and blue commingle in a gradient upper, a woven minimalist woven construction that’s inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 1 (note the Swoosh!). Red rounds out the patriotic palette, of course, punctuating what appears to be the perfect marriage of classic aesthetics and modern innovation.
The official Air Jordan 31 unveiling is mere days away, so stay tuned to Nikeblog for updates as we get them.
